Hillary Clinton FAINTS At 911 Ceremony CLOSE UP DIFFERENT ANGLE
By Brian Freeman |
Sunday, 11 Sep 2016 07:25 PM The Secret Service did not keep its own protocol when Democratic nominee
Hillary Clinton had to wait for her vehicle to arrive when she left
early from Sunday's ceremony for the 15th anniversary of the 9/11
terrorist attacks at Ground Zero, The Washington Post reports.
In a video of the incident,
Clinton is seen leaning against a security post as she waits for her
van to arrive and then buckles and stumbles as her security detail helps
her into the vehicle. The Clinton campaign later said she had felt
overheated at the ceremony and decided to leave early, then released a
doctor's statement she has pneumonia.
A former Secret Service agent told The Washington Post that it is clear
from the video that the detail was rushing and did not expect for
Clinton to leave early, as it is against procedure for a protected
individual to wait for a vehicle to arrive.
|The former agent also said it was against Secret Service protocol for
the head of the security detail to leave the protected individual’s
side, as the video shows him doing when he opens the vehicle’s doors for
Clinton. The former agent speculates that, due to the rushed nature of
the incident, the person responsible for opening the doors might not
have been able to get into position.
The Secret Service itself did not respond when asked about the incident.
