Update on shooting in Denmark: Another shooting - almost all ressources directed to Copenhagen

A large area in central Copenhagen is cordoned off after a second shooting in the Danish capital in just 10 hours. Taxis are being stopped and searched.
Shots has been fired near the synagogue in Krystalgade in Copenhagen, the Copenhagen Police informs.

One person was wounded by a shot to the head and two police officers were also wounded - one in an arm and one in a leg, police reports.

A man has been seen running from the scene of the crime - and armed policemen are searching through the area while citizens are asked to stay indoor. Almost all available police forces has been summoned to Copenhagen and the island of Sealand.

A civilian around 40 years old has died during a shooting in Copenhagen, Denmark, where the Swedish cartoonist Lars Vilks and French ambassador François Zimeray were speaking at a free speech event Saturday, Danish police reports.

Three police officers are injured as a result of the shooting, though their condition are not critical.

Two of the police officers were members of the Police Intelligence Service.

Reports say that more than 40 shots were fired outside the event venue. The Swedish artist Lars Vilks, who has been threatened several times after drawing the Prophet Muhammed, is unharmed, and so is the French ambassador.

The gunman is still at large, last seen in black Volkswagen Polo, which has been found abandoned. The Danish police are still searching for witnesses.

PET, the Danish Intelligence Agency, writes the following in a press statement.

- The circumstances surrounding the shooting indicate that it was a terror attack.

The Danish Primeminister Helle Thorning-Schmidt said the following in a press statement:

- My thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the victims and their relatives. The police are in full readiness across the country. All resources are deployed . The authorities' first priority here and now is to catch the perpetrators .

The latest statement from the Danish Police reports that there is now only one suspected shooter. Earlier reports said two.

Danish police released this picture. The man is described as follows:
Male, 25-30 years old, 185 centimeters tall, athletic and arabic looks, but with lighter skin and black straight hair. He wore a black or dark blue skijacket and matching pants and probably gloves. His face was covered all the way to the eyes with an yellow, orange and red scarf.
